There only 2 of them each game and are best in the hands of a nurse, or any other melee class.
Usage

Consuming the Magical Mushrooms greatly increases your health and defences for a few seconds. It's best used when the mobs manage the break a barrier and there no dogs around to tank them and prevent them from entering the base. Use this to tank the mobs at the breach while your allies take care of them.
